Dilsukhnagar Arena, the undisputed citadel of Digital Media Education in India celebrated the 2012 edition of its immensely popular Pixellence Awards on Thursday, the 26th of January, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. As an initiative of India's largest Digital Media Academy, Pixellence Awards is recognized as a marquee event in the Digital Media industry. It is a much awaited annual extravaganza aimed at recognizing and honoring outstanding Digital Media talent at Dilsukhnagar Arena.
Pixellence-2012 got rolling at 4 p.m. with the customary address and presentation on Dilsukhnagar Arena (The flagship of the Creative Multimedia Group and India's only Digital Media Academy backed by full-service Animation and VFX studios) by the CEO, Mr. Raja Sekhar Buggaveeti.
The prestigious Pixellence Awards which are synonymous with Digital Media Excellence were presented to 31 outstanding students of Dilsukhnagar Arena in various categories of Animation, VFX, Web and Graphics by the CEO amidst thunderous applause.
Like a fully loaded machine gun, Pixellence-2012 emptied its fun magazine to deliver umpteen rounds of explosive entertainment: dance, song, laughter and passion. Euphoria engulfed the venue and celebrations reached a feverish pitch with students literally flying on to the stage, enmasse, and shaking hysterically to the pulsating music. Shimmering like angels in cute white attire, tiny tots from a local school stole the show with a heart-touching song-dance performance.
What lent meaning to the day and made the event which was celebrated on Republic Day unforgettable was the special appearance by Mr. Raja Sekhar Buggaveeti, CEO of Dilsukhnagar Arena who donned the garb of the revolutionary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju and reprised the role of this warrior saint with 'Telugu Veera Levara' – a film song with inspirational lyrics which is now permanently etched in the hearts of Telugu people for its patriotic fervor.
Post the Pixellence awards presentation ceremony, Mr. Raja Sekhar thanked the students, parents, volunteers, staff and all the guests for gracing the event and making it a grand success. |
