Raja Sekhar Buggaveeti is the CEO of Arena Animation Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad. His unfailing vision, ingenious ideas and trend-setting initiatives have galvanized Dilsukhnagar, a small, south-side township of Hyderabad, to emerge into the new hub for Animation Education & Training in India.

A Business Management graduate, Raja Sekhar spear-headed Dilsukhnagar Arena to annex the coveted 'Best Centre' award of Arena Animation in 1998 - its very first year of operations. Ever since, the institute has reigned as the undisputed leader in the field in Andhra Pradesh.

Guided by his inspirational leadership, unceasing passion and relentless drive, Dilsukhnagar Arena has grown to become the No.1 Centre of Arena Animation in India and the largest Animation Training facility in the country. Dilsukhnagar Arena is, today, also the preferred destination for international Animation students from many Asian and African nationalities.

Thinking ahead, setting daunting goals and achieving them in emphatic manner are the cornerstones of his leadership style. Raja Sekhar believes in going the extra mile, especially when it concerns the career and future of his students. An ardent devotee of George 'Star Wars' Lucas, Raja Sekhar has been diligently contributing his part in taking Indian Animation to the world. He has attended many renowned international CG related conventions like SIGGRAPH (Asia, 2008 & USA, 2005) and MIPCOM (France, 2004). In fact, he was the only one from the Indian Animation Education firmament to attend SIGGRAPH USA, 2005.

Raja Sekhar is among the foremost supporters of the Indian Animation cause, actively supporting NASSCOM in its Animation & Gaming initiatives, and being the lead-patron of International Animation Day, Hyderabad Chapter, organized by ASIFA India.
