VFX - The Anniversary
July 19th is the Anniversary Day of Arena Animation Dilsukhnagar. The 'Best Centre' has uniquely proclaimed its anniversary as VFX (Visualize, Feel, Experience) to bring it closer to its students.
Each year VFX showcases a spectacular presentation on a seminal Animation/Multimedia topic by an eminent personality. Industry luminaries are also invited to engage in enlightening knowledge-sharing sessions. The cultural festivities that follow add ample vibrancy to the Anniversary.
VFX culminates in the much awaited Prize Distribution. The coveted Arena Animation Dilsukhnagar Proficiency Awards (PRODIGI Awards) are conferred upon the best student works across various categories.
VFX '09 - Celebrating A 11 Years Of Pixellence:
Like every year the Arena Dilsukhnagar anniversary held annually on 19 July in Hyderabad, just keeps getting bigger. This year the anniversary was celebrated at the Saroornagar indoor stadium with over 5500 students congregated to participate.
The main draw for these students was the eminent speaker panel which included Ms. Shelley Page, Head of International Outreach of Dreamworks, London, Prof.T. Tirupati Rao VC-Osmania University, Dr. P. Padmavathi, VC-Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University, Shri. A. R. Sesha Prasad, Digital Production Manager, Rhythm & Hues and Shri. This landmark event witnessed 'behind-the-scenes' of award winning movies, demo-reel presentations by famed Animation studios, salient points of web designing, an Animation Quiz program and riotous entertainment towards the end.
